Public support and demand for fake-fur sporrans is steadily increasing. Since our week of action against real-fur sporrans last year, more people have joined us in our campaign against real-fur. We now have more than 1600 supporters regularly participating in actions and campaigns and thousands more have signed the petition to ban real-fur in the UK.
To help consumers make an ethical choice, we've put together a list of compassionate retailers and manufacturers who provide 100% fur-free sporrans - and do not deal with any fur. See http://www.edinburghfurfreecity.co.uk/furfree.php As a result of working with EFFC, they are all offering a 10% discount to anyone buying a fake-fur sporrans with one of our leaflets.
We have been campaigning, protesting, leafleting, holding all sorts of events for over 2 years to raise awareness of this issue and now when we really need your help and support! We need all of Scotland to say no to real-fur sporrans! All you need to do is organise an action - a vigil, a leafletting session, a protest, a stall - anything you like - near a sporran shop - and we'll send you all the materials you need! Just a couple of hours in the week from 22-28th May. Its not much for one person, but together, it sends a strong message to the fur industry.
